When lukewam meets hell...

by Patricia Ann

I had a really hard week, as I watched the things and people of GOd being continually attacked and deceived. I found myself pondering these things and as I sat down to write, I began writing about when lukewarm meets hell.

Oh, how the heart of God is saddened by mankind, as He continues to reach out to draw the lost ones back unto Himself...

before it becomes too late.

Revelation 3:15-16 -  I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

When lukewam meets hell,

I wonder what they will think.

In a split second, the blink of an eye,

it's over.

The physical life is over, but the spirit lives on

destined for life eternal with our Lord

or eternal damnation with the father of lies and deception.

I wonder...

when lukewarm meets hell, what they will think

of the sins they so willingly committed

in the name of fun and games.

the life well lived in earthly pleasures,

their only fire, being burning desires

of the things not of God.

When lukewarm meets hell, the time is done.

The life well lived with so much fun

ended there in the place of total lack and void.

The god of the world, the father of lies made a place for them and their lukewarm desires.

Hell, where there is no breath of life, but the stench of death,

a smoky, smoldering fire - with not a bit of warmth.

It is a penetrating cold, a vast emptiness.

How did they not know?

Why did they not listen?

As the father of lies created beautiful things to lure the senses of man,

man, in his sinfulless craved the eye candy, the money, success and fame

and turned from the One who loved them the most in a cruel and mocking, lukewarm game they called "the good life."

When lukewarm meets hell, the time is done.

The life well lived with so much fun

ended there, in the place of total lack and void.

The physical life over, but the spirit, living on

in an everlasting torment and regret.

Isn't it time for those of us who know and see...

to stand up and speak with fire, the desires of our God,

to save His creation and set the captives free?

Lukewarm living, thinking they are heaven bound,

is living in the deceptions of the world -

the father of lies seeking to fill his void with senseless, human souls

taking them captive behind the gates of hell.

Isn't it time to make sure our family members and friends, and those we've yet to meet

find their way from lukewarm desires to the Fire of God?

Isn't it time to light a path to life everlasting in Heaven, filled with mansions and steets of gold?

It's a much better place than the cold, vast darkess that is meant only for the devil and his own.

When lukewam meets hell,

I wonder what they will think.

In a split second, the blink of an eye,

it's over.

The physical life is over, but the spirit lives on -

destined for life eternal with our Lord,

or eternal damnation with the father of lies and deception.

I wonder...

when lukewarm meets hell, what they will think

of the sins they so willingly commited

in the name of fun and games -

the life well lived in earthly pleasures,

their only fire being burning desires

of the things not of God.

When lukewarm meets hell, the time is done.

The life well lived with so much fun

ended there - in the place of total lack and void.

Isn't it time to take up the Cross, the shield, the sword

and declare victory of the Lord, to storm the gates of hell

and bring God's people home?

It is time!

Are you ready to turn from the lukewarm desire of the world

and join the greatest and mightiest army of God's anointed and appointed troops?

As God is calling hearts back unto Himself, may not one person be left out,

to find ot what happens "when lukewarm meets hell."

1 John 2:15-16 - Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

Titus 1:16 - They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

Matthew 7:21-23 - "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Luke 6:46 - "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?

1 Corinthians 13:2 - If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

2 Corinthians 13:5 - Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

Isaiah 29:13 - The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught."
