Are you conditioned to believe a lie? Choose this day whom you will serve... Joshua 24:15

Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
In John 8:44, Jesus tells us that Satan is the father of lies, a murderer and liar from the very beginning.  (...he was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.)
Have you ever wondered...
Are you conditioned to believe a lie?
Are you living in bondage and not even aware of it?

Every day, we as humans, living in the world... are subject to a myriad of lies.
Lies are everywhere, especially in the news media and on television.
We hear debates on the presidential election, same sex marriage, abortion, gender identity debates and we see it all glamorized on television and in the news creating an image to young and old people alike that it is now okay to go against what God's written word tells us is the correct way to live.
Our homes, families and children are riddled with confusion.
This confusion leads to chaos, as families seek to find answers that often lead to arguments, misunderstandings

and division.

Are we conditioned to believe the lie?
Are we living in bondage and not even aware of it?
We hear lies whispered to us by Satan. We may experience a feeling of rejection or misunderstanding.  A friend or family member, or often a spouse may have said something unintentionally that hurt you.  It seems that they did it intentionally, as Satan works and the words became totally twisted before they ever reached your ears. Suddenly you feel wounded and your loved one has no idea what has happened.
This sabotage is created by Satan as he stands nearby whispering lies, twisting words to cause chaos and destruction, seeking to destroy the kingdom of God, seeking to divide. Satan diligently seeks to divide God's chosen people. He works in relationships in homes, work and even church. He is working in our nation and all over the world.

Often times it seems like it would be better to give up, give in and believe the lie, so that life would become easier.
That is also a lie!
Our Father in Heaven has given us many gifts. He has openly shared His heart so that we have knowledge of His ways and discernment between good and evil.
As Christians however, saved by the blood of Jesus, we know that we cannot give up or give in to the lies of Satan.
Our Father in Heaven calls for us to be bold in our ways, to be like salt.

When we become complacent to the ways of the world, we subject ourselves and our families to the torments

of the enemy.
Are you willing to sit back and watch evil prevail in your family?  In society?
Are you willing to drive by and pay no attention to the homeless person sleeping on the street?
Are you willing to sit and watch as a person is beaten or attacked in public,
or to stand quietly knowing that a woman or child is being abused behind closed doors at home?
What about our elderly population, so many of whom have no family that cares for them because they got old or don't seem to have anything to offer any longer?
Are you complacent to the needs of the people around you, in your family, city, state or nation?
Are you so complacent that you just don't feel compassion or caring any longer?
As long as it doesn't touch you personally, you just don't care?
When we aren't caring about the physical needs of humanity, are we caring for their spiritual needs?
There is a very good chance that the answer is, "No."

Do you call yourself a "Godly person" but are complacent to the evils at work around you?
Are you conditioned to believe the lie?
Are you living in bondage and not even aware of it?
Think about it.
God calls us to be His disciples, His warriors.  He instructs us to stand... against the evil one who seeks to

destroy humanity.
Are you complacent to the ways of the world, the lies and deception, the chaos and division that seems to plague our nation, our world?
Are you willing to stand in opposition to the the oppressors?
Are you a warrior, standing up for Jesus and the ways of our Lord?
My answer is, "Yes, I am a warrior and I stand for what is good, what is right and what is noble in our Father's eyes."
Our Father's ways are the only ways to truly live a life free of the lies of the enemy of our God.
Look in your heart and find what's been missing.
For the eyes of the Lord run to and for throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him...”  2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)

Will you find your compassion, your love for mankind?
Will you find your warrior within and stand?
When you do, rest assured that our Father in Heaven will smile down on you with His great and wonderful blessings... for you have shown that your heart is loyal to Him.
My  prayer for today is that as we choose this day to serve our Father in Heaven,  we never allow ourselves to  become hardened...to be complacent to the lies that Satan whispers in our ears.  It is my prayer that the love and compassion

of Jesus reigns in truth and that families are united, our nation is united and the world is a better place because of

our choice.  I pray that you shall be immersed in the love of Jesus Christ. Amen
