Activating our Love for Jesus

I love Jesus with all of my heart.  He is my life, my salvation and my love.
I believe with all of my being that the Word of God is true and when we walk in His truth and His love every day, the light of Jesus shines through us for others to see.

As I seek to activate my love for Jesus in helpfulness, giving, God's word, and in ministry, I find myself being told to be quiet, so as to not offend anyone.
However, as I am filled with the Holy Spirit and feel the total essence of the love of our Father in Heaven living inside of me, I want to share all that He has to offer.
I want to shout His name from the rooftops.  I desire to say, "Look people... this is the Love of our Lord."
I desire to share the awesomeness of His love, as I have received it in my own life.  I seek to share my testimony as a witness to the love and compassion of our Father in Heaven.
I love to tell others of Jesus and how great a love He has for us that He chose to experience death on the cross to save us from every trial or burden that we will ever face.

In His love through me, I desire to see people living without pain, being healed from cancer, free from the torments of this world and living happy and joyful lives filled with His love. I desire to see people filled with hope for a better tomorrow, seeking our Father in Heaven during times of trial.

I want to say, "Never give up."

As we go through trials, and we feel totally alone, unloved and worthless, our Father in Heaven never leaves us.
No matter where we came from, or what pain our past contains, or what sins we have committed, when we give

ourselves to our Father in Heaven through faith in Jesus Christ, we are set free, forgiven and made fresh and new.
Made in His image, we are beautiful and whole in mind, body and spirit.
I seek to live my life activated in the love of Jesus.

However, what are we to do as people seek to destroy our works or shut us down by declaring that we are too Godly, or that we are Jesus freaks, or even pushy with His word?
Are we really offensive or are we offering the love of God to those who seek to live in a lukewarm dormancy and they don't want to be brought into the activation of His love?

They push us away, angry with who we are in Christ.

Our Lord calls us to be the salt of the earth, not the sugar glazed coating of a feel good society.
(Matthew 5:13-14), "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."

2 Chronicles 36:15-16
The LORD, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on His people and on His dwelling place.
But they mocked God's messengers, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against His people and there was no remedy.

Despite people telling us we are offensive with God's word, we must remember that we belong to God.  We operate in His love, sharing His message and although not everyone will seek to hear it or understand it; and many will push us away, we must continue to activate His love in us, as we operate in His glory; in His light.
Our Father in Heaven calls us to share the essence of who He is through our ability to love and express who He is, as we allow His love to be activated in our own lives.
God's word is true and the truth never has to be offensive to anyone.
It may be uncomfortable for some people to hear, as they develop a relationship with our Lord and grow in maturity in His love.  It may be uncomfortable to those who choose not to believe that God even exists or question His existence.

If we succumb to the desires of others for us to shut down the activation of the Holy Spirit in us, so as to not offend, it would seem to be that we stop serving our Lord and become a servant of this world.

Therefore, I declare my love for my Father in Heaven and the truth of His word.
If you find yourself feeling lukewarm and you feel our Lord tugging at your heart to do more for Him, then activate your love for Jesus by declaring His love in all you do.
Speak His word.  Give personal testimony. Teach the little children in your life about Jesus by reading them Bible stories. Pray for the sick. Pray the healing for all people by lifting them up in Jesus' name. Praise God through singing.
It is wonderful that Jesus lives within our hearts, but it is glorious and honors God when we praise who He is in our lives outwardly and actively for others to see.
It is when we activate our love for Jesus that we become joyful and fulfilled in our Lord, receiving even more blessings from Him in our own lives.

My prayer for today is that we, as Christians and children of God, choose to activate our love for Jesus by walking daily in His love and light, sharing the Word of our Father in Heaven and declaring His love to all people in this world.
I pray that we remain steadfast in His love, despite accusations of being too offensive or pushy and that we would never succumb to the desires of  the world to stop sharing who Jesus Christ is in our own lives and as the Savior to the world.
Blessings to all in Jesus' precious name.
