Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

As the spirit of fear has enveloped the world with the COVID-19 virus, let us not forget that there is nothing the gets past God.  He knows the plans that He has for us, which includes plans to prosper us and not to harm us.  God loves us, as a Father loves His children and He is right now calling His children back to Himself through this pandemic.  When life as we know it suddenly changes, our adrenaline kicks in, our fight or flight responses take over, and that creates chaos and panic in our mind. But, God has assured us in His word that we should "...Be still, and know that He is God."  Stillness, however, is sometimes hard to achieve.  It is almost impossible to rest peaceably when the news is declaring a deadly virus is about to overtake us all,  speaking death to anyone over 60 years old. God's word assures us in Psalm 91 that we will have long life. God's word is forever true.  It cannot fail if we believe and operate in faith, as His children.  Every day, God speaks to us in many ways and circumstances.  God has been speaking since the beginning of time.  Is it not God who spoke our world into existence?  Is it not God who put the sun and the moon in the sky,  and created the mountains and the oceans full of fish, forests full of wildlife, birds in the air, the majestic eagle which is the emblem of our great United States of America?  Is it not God who created mankind in His image and was pleased with His creation?  And is it not God who loves us each and every one so very much that He sent His son Jesus to be born, live and die on the Cross for all sin, sickness and disease?  Isn't our God worthy to be praised in all things and at all times?

Of course, He is. How many people in our nation and our world selfishly go about their every day with selfish idols that leave God in the back of their mind if they think of Him at all, or if they even know or believe that He exist?  We may not know the answer to that question, but God knows!  Our God knows all things all of the time.

Everyone is questioning the COVID-19 virus.  How did it get here?  How long will it last? How many will get sick? How many

will die?

The answer...We don't know, but God knows.

If it was a natural occurrence, an evil agenda, or a complete hoax... God knows!

We, as a people can seek to rely on the predictions of the scientists, the news media, or anyone else, but only God can bring true peace into the hearts and minds of mankind.  God can and will bring healing to our mind and restore sanity in the midst of chaos and confusion, fear and anxiety.

His word tells us...

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

God's word also tells us that it takes only a mustard seed size of faith to move a mountain.  He wants us to believe in Him, in His love for us and that He will and does answer our prayers.

This is a great time to be alive!  As God is calling all of mankind's hearts unto Himself, may we all love and pray for one another and trust in the Lord, our God for He is worthy to be praised in all things and at all times.

Psalm 118:8 is one of my favorite scripture verses.  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

It is my prayer today that as we lift one another in love and prayer to our Father in Heaven, that we believe and have faith that for such a time as this, God is calling us closer to Himself.  May we relinquish all fear and anxiety to God, with confidence that He has our best interest already in His midst.

Blessings to all in peace and love. Amen.
