The Truth Will Set You Free

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

I am sitting writing my blog today, and as I wrote the words "God's word" they turned into turned into "God sword".
Yes indeed, His word is the sword of the Spirit, His truth that we are to declare and speak into our lives every day! It is mighty for taking down strongholds...
Thank you Jesus!

We can be thankful for our Father in Heaven has given us His word, His truth as our handbook for life.  In the pages of the Bible, we find life and all of the tools necessary to take down the wiles of the enemy.  We can and should be living in the joy of the Lord!

Let's take God at His word, get into His word and let His truth set us free.  We have life to live and souls to bring into the presence and glory of God.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
