This is why we minister....on earth as it is in Heaven!

Just my thoughts on ministry today...

We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

When we faithfully share our experience and our faith...we can know that God will carry His message through us to those people who He knows need to see it and hear His word. Some people receive and some do not... but we plant a seed that has opportunity to grow and manifest into relationship with Himself and into healing.

We won't know until we meet our Lord... just how many people were saved or healed because we shared our experience. I carried a message of healing to a woman several years ago. She was convinced she was like Job...committed to suffering and she did not receive that she was already made well. She had somehow stopped short of knowing that Job was made well, restored, recovered and victorious when he saw the greatness of God and had a heartfelt conversation with Him. She passed away several years later... faithfully reading scripture every day, as her husband recently said God had him he take 12 years off from ministering to care for her.

She is in heaven. God allows me to see people meet Jesus with an excited glowing smile on their face...as He welcomes them home. But, I believe in "on earth as it is in heaven" and we know that heaven has no pain, torment or sickness."

So, is heaven  our portion here on earth?

When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, He replied with "The Lord's Prayer"  which tells us "on earth as it is in heaven".   Do you know we are members of the Kingdom of heaven here on earth? Do you know that we can  reach up and grab the hand of Jesus,  the hem of His garment and receive of Himself, all the things of God?  We can!   We can readily receive our portion, here,  as members of God's Kingdom, on earth as it is in Heaven.

We already have peace, love, joy and healing waiting for us.  And somewhere deep inside each of us, we know!

We know that we need to believe in something greater than we are. We know that we desire to experience healing.

We know!   Somehow, we have always known that our Father's love is beautifully placed deeply within our being.  Somehow, we know that we will never be satisfied  living a life that keeps us separated from our Father. You see, our Father formed us and placed within us,  a part of Himself. And by His design,  we can never be truly separated from Himself.

Do you know that He is always calling our hearts unto Himself because He loves us so much?

Surely, we have all had that longing to be with our Lord.   When Jesus was a child,  Mary and Joseph couldn't find him and turned back to look for him.  Finding Jesus, he told them, that he had to be in His Father's house.

We, too, possess that innate desire to be with our Lord.

And He desires for us to be with Himself, also.  He tells us in His word that He stands at the door of our heart and knocks and when we let Him in He will sup with us.

I know it's not easy for many people to let Jesus in. It isn't easy to let go of pride, shame, guilt, grief, or the pain and torment that separation from our Lord brings.

And  this is why we minister !  This is why we give testimony and why we keep on going.  This is why we, ourselves made our way back to Himself.  We all know the sick feeling of separation.  But we can all experience the awesome welcome home of answering the knock at the door of our heart and falling, tearfully back into our Father's loving embrace.

On earth as it is in Heaven.  We don't have to wait a lifetime to get there.  We don't have to wait in infirmity and pain or guilt, anger, or shame.  We have always known that our Father's love is beautifully placed deeply within our being.  Somehow, we know that we will never be satisfied  living a life that keeps us separated from our Father. You see, our Father formed us and placed within us,  a part of Himself. And by His design,  we can never be truly separated from Himself.

Lately, I keep hearing, "Never give up! Never, ever give up!" Our Lord will always Love us the Most!!

My prayer for today:  Father God, we thank You for Your Word.  We thank You for Your Truth.  We thank You for Your Presence. We thank You for Your love that You placed deep inside of our being.  We thank You that You continually call our hearts back unto Yourself and into complete relationship with You.  It is true that You love us the Most.   We thank You, my Lord for the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony and the desire to never, ever give up sharing Who You are and bringing Your children home.

Blessings to all in Jesus' loving Name. Amen.

8...For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.  Matthew 6:8-13

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  Revelation 3:20

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: Matthew 9:20

13For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.… Psalm 139:13-14

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:10-16
