When Jesus appears...

by Patricia Ann 10/16/2022

Did you ever stop and think about what you might be doing when Jesus appears?

Maybe you will be at work or home, buying groceries, in school, taking a walk, at the doctor's office or just sitting quietly with a book?  If Jesus appears on a Sunday, will He find you in church?  Or fellowshipping with friends and family... or even strangers?

I wonder just how many people take the time to think about when Jesus appears.  We are told in Scripture to "Get ready" for Jesus return.  In an instant,  a blink of the  eye and it will be done.

For some people,  it will be  time of great joy, a much anticipated day when our eyes meet Jesus. For others, it will be a time of fear and chaos because they didn't believe that Jesus would surely return.

I am reminded of a vision that I had in 2012.  It was simple, but the impact of the vision is huge!

I was sitting at a small table with Jesus.  It was a short conversation.

Jesus simply said to me, "Go and tell them I am coming soon!"

How exciting it was for me to have that meeting with my Lord.

"Go and tell them I am coming soon."

So,   I eagerly told some people about my vision.  And I wrote about it, too.

I wanted to share the message that Jesus is coming. It was exciting!

I had been face to face with Jesus at a small table and He told me to give everyone  His message.

He is coming soon!

I was met with blank stares and some unkind scoffing from people who clearly didn't share in my

enthusiasm for my Lord's return.

It was as if people just weren't ready!

I did receive some messages from people who had read my writings about Jesus' message.  A few people had also had visions of Jesus giving them the same message.

It has been 10 years since I had that vision and I believe that Jesus has been busy calling

people's hearts back unto Himself.

Jesus desires to return to a spotless bride, His bride.

Jesus wants our hearts to be  repentant, humbled,  pure, and desiring to know Him intimately.

I have seen Jesus working in people's lives...physical and emotional healings , restoring relationships and teaching us to be His voice, His hands and feet here, to help Him with getting His bride ready for His return.

I ask again...Did you ever stop and think about what you might be doing when Jesus appears?

Will you be at work or home, buying groceries, in school, taking a walk, at the doctor's office or just sitting quietly with a book?  If Jesus appears on a Sunday, will He find you in church?  Or fellowshipping with friends and family or even strangers?

When Jesus appears, will we be ready?  Will those you love be ready?  Will your neighbors, city or state be ready?  Will our Nation be ready?  Will other Nations be ready?

My prayer for today is that we are all ready for Jesus' return and that we listen intently for His voice, as He calls us to minister to our families, our friends and those we have yet to meet.  May we present ourselves as willing vessels... to be His voice, and His hands and feet here, to help Him with getting His bride ready for His return.  And...may we all rest in the knowledge that Jesus truly does love each of us the Most!

Love and blessings to All in Jesus' name. Amen.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matt. 24:29-31
